Last weekend I said goodbye to a lot of things. They weren't permanent goodbyes, but I think it will be a while til I'm back for extended periods of time. Be prepared, there will probably be some melodrama in this post.

Goodbye house! My childhood bedroom was pretty fucking amazing. It was my living, breathing masterpiece. My walls were covered in my art and my love.
My orange wall. Music lyrics and hand-painted "frames". Clothesline of photos.
My wall and my book alcove. My wall has theater memories: signed posters from my Spring Awakening and Wooden Lamb, pieces of sets that I've worked on. Skull art by Brittany. Cherubs group photo. My book alcove is collaged and has my collection of Ganeshas (my favorite god) and a penguin and unicorn head from birthday party piñatas.
My green wall. I taped/painted the wall. Flower decals. Live, Laugh, Love mirror decals. Purple twinkle lights. My signed "Steam Ballet" HONY print. My 8-bit camera decals. "Key to My Heart" diptic.
My balcony window. Clothesline of photos. Gryffindor house crest decal. Christmas bow. Halloween skeleton garland. Toy Story 3 decals. Skeleton. My handmade Sally (Nightmare Before Christmas) dress from Halloween 2013.
My bed!! 20 year old Tempur Pedic. SO SOFT. Pupful, my childhood puppy. Short for Puperamus Fullerton. My carrot. Logan Presley, my porcupine.
My spider-web. Cherubs Standard Time tacked to a piece of the clock set from my Cherubs show. Princess castle decal.
Closet highlights. Hats, necklaces, memories. My prom queen sash from 80's prom. My princess mirror! Lots of shoes...
My stuff. Duct tape lined shelves. Entertainment Weekly. Gold animals from Bekah and Jamie's wedding. Penpal materials. Ticket stub book. Art Journal.
Emptyed my bookshelf to pack them in boxes. Bookworm.

Wow this one was emotional. I went to the Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts (YADA) at the age of 6 and never left. I was a student for many years, then I interned, and finally worked there. Everyone there is truly my family. I know I'll come back and visit/probably work there whenever I'm home. But it's weird to say goodbye knowing I'll never be there in the same capacity again. After my last show of Guys and Dolls, the staff (and my mom) surprised me with an amazing scrapbook and Fonuts. I started crying the second I saw my boss, Lani and my mom come out from the studio where they were hiding.
Clockwise from top left: Ryan, Rebecca, Lani, Scott, Lauren, Hayley, Dan, Alice. My family.
It was crazy to say goodbye to Lauren. We became best friends when we were both Lady With Babies and vegetarians in Beauty and the Beast. We've had quite a ride, lots of ups and downs. We're in a fantastic place right now which is wonderful. She's the office manager this summer at YADA and she's doing an amazing job. It's crazy how far we've come together. We're on such different paths but in such a similar place. We're young adults making our stamp on the world! It's exciting! I love you, Lauren!
Sunday, June 30th.
We had farewell brunch at Dupar's with my parents, brother, Cassidy, Cassidy's mom, and my two friends, Phoebe and Christina. It was delish and a great sendoff. My brother totally bonded with Phoebe. Look out for their wedding invitation in 2033.
The ladies and the lady-killer.
It's a good time. Everything is new and exciting. Wish me luck!
